Size: Minimum: 30 cubic feet (.85 m3).Bale Range Dimensions: 24” to 40” (61 to 132 cm) by 30” to 52” (76 to 132 cm) by 40” to 84” (102 to 213 cm).Tying Method:

The only acceptable tying method includes either: Four to six 5/8” (1.6 cm) x .020” (5mm) steel bands.Or, six to ten #13 gauge steel wires.Alternatively, aluminum bands or wires can be used in equivalent strength and number.

   

Material Requirements:

Must be magnetically separated material.Must be free of steel, lead, bottle caps, plastic cans, and other plastic, glass, wood, dirt, grease, trash, and other foreign substances.Any free lead is a reason for rejection.Any aluminum items, other than used beverage cans, are not acceptable.

Variations:

Any variations to this specification should be mutually agreed upon by the buyer and seller prior to shipment.

Briquette Density:

Minimum: 50 pounds per cubic foot (800 kg/m3).

Briquette Size:

Nominal size range: 12” to 24” (30.5 x 61 cm) x 12” to 24” (30.5 x 61 cm).Variable length: Minimum 8” (20.3 cm), maximum 48” (122 cm).Uniform profile.

Bundling and Packaging:

Briquettes shall be bundled or stacked on skids.Minimum securing: One vertical band per row and one girth band per horizontal layer.Briquettes should not overhang the pallet.Total package height: Maximum 48" (122 cm).

Banding:

Banding width: At least 5/8” (1.6 cm).Band thickness: .020” (5 mm) thick steel strapping or equivalent strength.

Weight Limit:

The weight of any bundle should not exceed 4,000 pounds (1.814 mt).

Material Description:

It consists of clean aluminum profile extrusions.Typical sources: Window, shop fittings, irrigation tubes, door frames.Must be free of screws, iron components, plastics, rubber, or other foreign materials.
